GoAir Launches Flights on 7 New International Routes…

An Indian Low-Cost Airline, GoAir has launched flight services on seven new international routes, which includes three new destinations Kuwait, Dubai and Bangkok, which is the part of their overseas expansion plans starting from 19 July 2019. The airline said: “The services on the new routes are subject to regulatory approval,” GoAir will be starting 7 new international routes with daily flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Bangkok from Indian stations such as New Delhi, Mumbai and Kannur. The airline already flies to Abu Dhabi and Muscat from Kannur and it also flies to Phuket (Capital of Bangkok) and the Maldives from Bengaluru, Mumbai and New Delhi. The services to the Maldives are currently on hold, the airline said.

Jehangir Wadia, MD and acting CEO, GoAir, said: “These planned launches will definitely strengthen airline’s presence in the Middle East and South East Asian Countries. The network expansion is in sync with our vision to expand our footprint in strategic markets and to grow our business profitably,” This time, GoAir Airline is entering in new destinations such as Dubai, Kuwait and Bangkok and we intend to continue the momentum in the future too, he added. The Wadia Group-promoted non-listed carrier GoAir at present flies to Bengaluru, Bhuvneshwar, handigarh, Chennai, New Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Jammu, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Leh, Kannur, Mumbai, Lucknow, Patna, Nagpur, Pune, Port Blair, Srinagar, Ahmedabad and Ranchi.
