Grand Mercure Mysore celebrates Christmas with a wishing tree for Children

December 17th, 2019: Christmas is a time for giving and Grand Mercure Mysore is doing just that by bringing a smile on the faces of many underprivileged children with the help of a wishing tree. Children from Kaliyuva Mane NGO were invited to Grand Mercure Mysore on 14th of December for a special tree lighting ceremony and were asked to write and stick the name of the gift they wish for on the tree. Over the next 10 days, guests have been requested to take one wish, buy the gift and put it under the tree. This event was also promoted in Mall of Mysore with a flash mob and a baking workshop specially for kids by the chef on 15th of December, 2019.

“We celebrate Christmas and New Year each year with a lot of pomp & extravagance and this year we felt like taking a step back and seeing how we can spend it in a more collaborative and generous way to join in the spirit of hope and giving.
