Serving love, warmth, and nostalgia on a plate, Mumbai’s favorite Grandmama’s Cafe is all set to launch its 7th outlet in Pune.

A brainchild of Simar and Abhayraj Kohli, Grandmama’s Café has six cafes in Mumbai opened in a span of over three years at Dadar, Lower Parel, Kemps Corner, Juhu, Chembur, and Ghatkopar. Hitting the city of Pune, the new outlet is going to be a two-storied affair with an expanse of 2200 sq ft, making it a comfortable place to bring in your group friends, come in for the big family meals or even for a romantic and peaceful meal with your special ones.

Loved for their homely vibe and wholesome soul food, Grandmama’s Cafe is going to set its mark in the neighboring city with its bright green walls radiating homeliness and a whole lot of love. From their workshops to food cooked with love to their unique events, everything carries a charm to it, something that gets lost in the drab monotony of the restaurants today. Fit for luncheons, comforting dinners, brekkies or just to wind down, Grandmama’s Cafe has an answer to all of your mealtime quests.

The cafe will serve up good old soul food, recipes of some are directly inspired by Abhayraj’s own grandmother’s kitchen. The menu is an amalgamation of classic dishes from around the world along with some of the favorite recipes from your childhood, peppered with the homely love. Get ready to indulge in dishes, like their mind-boggling selection of Fondues; Turkish Eggs, Akuri on Toast, Nutella French Toast from their Breakfast Specials; Arancini Balls, Spring Vegetables Al Ajillo, Trash Can Nachos from their Tiny Plates; Green Garlic Risotto, Bangkok Grandma’s Curry from their Small Plates; Chicken Tariwala, Rajma Chawal from Bombay Grandmama’s Specials; Pizzas; Sandwiches; Burgers; Desserts like Grandmama’s Biscuit Cake, Gooey Chocolate Decadence; Beverages like their Thick Shakes, Teas or even Sangria and so much more along with their new dishes from the special menu that will be exclusive to the new cafe.

The new cafe is brought together by the caring hands of Simar and Abhayraj Kohli themselves. With a lot of zest and enthusiasm, they have personally done up the interiors of the new cafe, to add a personal touch to it. Exactly how they have done it for their other outlets. The pristine white chairs, the wooden patterned tables, the chintz upholstery and the highlight of it all- the laced curtain along with the soothing pastel and the wallpapered walls will all be making an appearance at the new cafe too. The signature bicycle with a basket full of flowers outside that implies a sense of welcome will also installed in this new cafe at Pune.

Talking about the new cafe, Abhayraj has a few words to share, “This is just like a sweet beginning in an all-new city. We are exhilarated and looking forward to serving Punekars with the same old Grandmama’s love. Hope they enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed getting it to Pune.” They promise a hit of the nostalgia as soon as anyone walks in through the doors of Mumbai’s most loved cafe. They are feeling overwhelmed and they want to share the same old homely love through their food, cheery interiors, and the lively vibe. The people of Pune, be ready to feel at home at your very own Grandmama’s Cafe in your very own city.
