GT Road Launches "Mandi Se Mez Tak" Food Festival

The "Mandi se Mez Tak" festival is a celebration of history, culture, and culinary excellence, curated in collaboration with the esteemed Chef Sadaf Hussain. Inspired by the culinary legacy of Sher Shah Suri, this unique event invites guests to embark on a journey through flavors and stories that span from Kabul to Chittagong, passing through iconic places like Amritsar, Delhi, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Patna, and Kolkata. Chef Sadaf Hussain's creations pay homage to Sher Shah Suri's monumental road, offering guests a chance to savor traditional dishes such as the Bihari Kebab and Guler Kebab, as well as indulge in delectable desserts like Lavang Latika. Beyond the culinary delights, guests will immerse themselves in the rich narratives and cultural anecdotes collected by Chef Hussain over time.

Founded by Rajan Sethi, The G.T. Road is a restaurant dedicated to revisiting the roots of traditional cuisine, offering a wide variety of dishes inspired by the culinary heritage of the regions along the historic route. Inspired by one of the longest roads in Asia, The G.T. Road provides patrons with a gastronomic journey spanning 2600 kilometers, from Kabul to Chittagong.
