Chef Saby has moved on from his glamorous job to a more gratifying role as the Ring Master at Fabrica by Saby, a boutique restaurant consultancy venture and eventually launched his own restaurant, Lavaash by Saby. Fabrica by Chef Saby has successfully delivered numerous prestigious events as well as partnership projects in the Indian F&B sector. He has been marked as '5 people to watch out for' in Fortune India 2013 which covered only top 5 people from different fields from all over India.

Chef Saby's success journey truly reflects that accomplishments don't come overnight. When chef Saby started his culinary  journey from the basement of the five-star hotel in the early '90s, he followed his chef's advise where he said

"if you want to get success in life, don't look at the watch and don't bother to see the sun, for the starting years just put your heads down and cook."

When he started his journey as a chef there were only reporting time but no signing out time. He has also slept in bunker beds and be always present in the hotel's kitchen for days.

With a gush of the passing year chef, Sabyasachi Gorai has become 47 years young of life and become an epitome in the hospitality industry. An inspiration to many and is a fabulous person who created a milestone for all those people who belong to a humble background shoot for big dreams. During his career timeline of more than two decades, he served many high profiles of the nation like luminaries, Bachchans, Ambanis, and many others.

On his birthday we cannot miss remarkable advice shared by Chef Saby during his interview with Hospitality Lexis magazine for young and vibrant chefs:

"I agree that food must have taste, it must be nutritious but we eat with our eyes first. So it must be very impressive at first sight."
