In the recent times, with growing consciousness of people witnessing a health-oriented diets, the approach towards regular life-style seems to be changing. And meanwhile, India’s leading Chain of Chinese restaurants, Chowman is also taking a pledge of a healthy work environment as a part of this New Year Resolution.

Under the initiative of Debaditya Chaudhury, Managing Director of Chowman, Oudh 1590 & Chapter 2, the HR department of the company has been resolute in offering each and every member of team Chowman a better lifestyle.

Team Chowman has appointed Dr. Nashra Shahid, (Dietician & Nutritionist) who will be inspecting the health of every Chowman Staff including backend team, Chefs, Managers and Service Personnels. Speaking on this, MD Debaditya Chaudhury shared, “what inspired me for this new initiative was the drastic change in my health that I noticed after reducing 30kgs in 3 years. I once used to be of 98 kgs and was facing huge health issue. That’s when I decided to bring a change. Once I met with the changes I realized the importance of healthy eating, and leading a healthier life. It also leaves a huge impact on the mental wellbeing of a person. In the restaurant industry, people are working in the kitchen for long hours. On the other hand, people working at the office sit for longer hours while service men tend to be on their toes for a long duration. All these can be reasons enough to cause health problem which later turn hostile, causing mental distress. This entire initiative is to provide them the proper diet and guide them into proper nutrient intake

Chowman is in the preliminary stage of this initiate and looks forward to run this full-fledged this New Year onwards. Tapas Das, HR- Chowman Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. expressed his gratitude saying, “We are really thankful to our MD for coming up with this idea and our department is taking all the necessary actions to make this initiative full course. The idea is to cater to every stratum of worker, specially those who hardly has access to health guidance. Our boys and girls are super happy and I am very glad that we are one of the rarest or the only brand in India who has come up with this initiative.
