1)TULSI SWEET ROSE SORBET

The delicate sorbet we have here is best relished as a refresher, or chuski, and comes with a health edge.

Makes 4 chuskis 

INGREDIENTS
ORGANIC INDIA TULSI Sweet Rose infusion – 8 sachets
ORGANIC INDIA Chia seeds – 1 tbsp
ORGANIC INDIA Multi Floral Honey – 1 tsp (or to taste)
Water – enough to fill 2 ice trays

METHOD
Pour freshly boiled water over the Tulsi Sweet Rose sachets
Let steep for 2-3 minutes; remove sachets
Mix in chia seeds and honey into the brew
Cool and pour into ice trays. Set aside to freeze.
Take out the ice and crush lightly in a mixer
Transfer crushed ice into glasses, and put in ice cream sticks through the centre of each
Refreeze for about 10 mins (may be stored up to 2-3 days)
Remove from freezer, and stand the glasses in warm water for about a min to loosen the chuskis
Serve ready Tulsi Sweet Rose chuski in the glasses

2)TULSI SWEET ROSE COOLER

The delicious sweet-sour drink is perfect to enjoy with your family in the afternoons after Holi. You may also like to replace the usual welcome glass of water for guests with this cool drink – fragrant with the subtle scent of sweet rose and refreshing Tulsi.  

Makes 6-8 glasses 

INGREDIENTS
ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Sweet Rose infusion – 12 sachets

ORGANIC INDIA Jaggery Powder – 500gm or ORGANIC INDIA Multi Floral Honey (to taste)
Water – 1 litre
Lemon – 1

METHOD
Add ½ glass water (or as required) to the ORGANIC INDIA Jaggery Powder, stir
Heat the jaggery water on medium fire to melt the jaggery. Set aside to cool

Bring remaining water to a boil and pour over ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Sweet Rose sachets; let steep for 3-4 mins
Remove sachets and freeze 2 cups of infused water till ice sets well; cover and refrigerate the rest of the infused water
Blend together the infused ice, melted jaggery and lemon juice to taste. (You can refrigerate the rest of the jaggery syrup in an airtight container and use up later)

Pour the refrigerated infused water over the crushed ice, stir, and serve in individual glasses with a sprig of Tulsi if liked.

Makes 6-8 glasses 

INGREDIENTS
ORGANIC INDIA Moringa Hibiscus infusion – 12 sachets

ORGANIC INDIA Multi Floral Honey (to taste)
Water – 1 litre
Lemon – 1

METHOD
Put water to a boil and pour over ORGANIC INDIA Moringa Hibiscus sachets; let steep for 3-4 mins
Remove sachets and freeze 2 cups of infused water till ice sets well; cover and refrigerate the rest of the infused water
Blend together the infused ice, ORGANIC INDIA Multi Floral Honey and lemon juice to taste. 

Pour the refrigerated infused water over the crushed ice, stir and serve in individual glasses.

4)TULSI SWEET ROSE AND RASPBERRY

Makes 2 small glasses

INGREDIENTS

ORGANIC INDIA Tulsi Sweet Rose Tea infusion – 2 sachets 

Freshly boiled water – 2 cups 

Fresh or frozen raspberries, roughly crushed – 1 cup 

Lemon juice – ¼ cup 

Granulated stevia or sweetener of choice – 1 teaspoon 

METHOD

Steep ORGANIC INDIA Sweet Rose Tea sachets in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. Remove sachets, add raspberries, lemon juice and stevia to taste – to the infusion. 

Strain and refrigerate to serve as coolers in individual glasses, topped with crushed ice; or chill in popsicle moulds to make into frozen desserts.

Health edge: This sweet is full of Vitamin C as both the wonder berries and rose petals are high on Vitamin C. Raspberry is also low on sugar and makes for the perfect ingredient to create a nuanced sweet dish full of flavour.
