Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway celebrated 10th Annual IHG Celebrate Service Week - June 24 to 30, 2019

July 02, 2019, Chennai: Last week between June 24 & June 30, Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway witnessed the fun-filled, IHG’s 10th annual Celebrate Service Week – IHG way of recognizing all that their hotel colleagues do to deliver True Hospitality for everyone. That means making people feel welcome and cared for, recognized and respected – no matter who they are or where they are from. Each day of the week was being celebrated with many theme based activities for various themes like Pirates, Super Heroes, Wedding Styles, & Horror, organized by the hotel associates for the fellow associates.

IHG Celebrate Service Week is an annual employee celebration all across IHG Brand Hotels. IHG brand hotels are brought to life by their people. During our annual Celebrate Service week, they come together as one IHG family to recognize this and celebrate their commitment to deliver True Hospitality for everyone.

Expressing his gratification, General Manager, Mr. Divakar Shukla stated, “While IHG Brand is thankful all year long for the team members who keep their businesses running smoothly, Celebrate Service Week provides a unique, annual opportunity to truly acknowledge all that they do. This year marked Celebrate Service Week’s tenth anniversary, and we celebrated big with a renewed focus on our hotel colleagues who are integral to the guest experience. We encourage our peers across the hotel & IHG system to share stories of great service as well as thoughtful ‘thank you’ cards amongst fellow colleagues thanking them for their dedication.”

On the last day of the week, the hotel hosted a soiree for all their associates which also included cultural programmes like dance, karaoke, themed fashion shows & entertainment like DJ followed by a scrumptious dinner at their ballroom, Pallava. Mr. Shukla thanked each & every associate of the hotel for their commitment, active & passionate participation during the whole week, and distributed certificates to the associates who completed successful years with the hotel since its opening.
