Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway lights up holiday season with annual ‘Tree Lighting Ceremony & Celebration’

December 14, 2020, Chennai: Wearing their Christmas hats & safety face masks, folks of Chennai welcomed the festive season by lighting up the Christmas tree at Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway. They celebrated peace, good will and the holiday season at the hotel’s fun-filled annual event of ‘Tree Lighting Ceremony’. They saw Santa Claus making a very special visit, cheering up everyone with bunch of chocolates & sweets.

City’s top influencers, hotel’s social media contest winners, hotel guests & the socialites - Satish Jupiter & Sunaina Mundhra were seen reveling in the glory of special party hosted at Holiday Inn for the festive season on 14^th December, 2020.

The tree was firmly up, however, the props for decorating the tree before lighting went missing. However, the folks at the event did not lose hope & held their magnifying glasses to find them in the hotel. Props being an important part of the evening, everyone treated it like a treasure & played the game of treasure hunt to find their own props which was hidden by playful Santa in the hotel. They divided themselves into 3 teams & each of 4 – Team Red, Team Black & Team Vivid Colors. Team Red of Sunaina won the game by finding the major portion of treasure followed by other teams as the runner ups. All teams proceeded to decorate the tree with their own treasures of props like balls, bells, stars, and many more in full swing & lighted up the tree with their radiant presence.

The joyful soiree was being hosted by serving the best of Christmas Special Wines & Shooters, followed by hors d'oeuvres by Executive Chef Asif Iqbal which was admired & appreciated by all the guests.
