Kolkata, 10th October 2023: As the season changes to welcome the short but unmistakable Autumn, the city gears up for the biggest extravaganza of the year - Durga Puja. Joining the gaiety is Social Kitchen at Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport, with a sumptuous thematic buffet named Bhalobasar Epar Opar, that seamlessly blends the best of Bangladeshi and Bangali cuisine. Specially curated by the chef, the hotel welcomes everyone to partake in this Melbandhan of Foodology.
“Durga Puja is not simply another Puja or Celebration in Bengal. It is an emotion that all Bengalis hold close in their hearts and wait an entire year to welcome into their lives. The celebration of Good over Evil always proves to be a wonderful occasion for a get-together with family and friends. We cordially invite the patrons to Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport to celebrate the Melbandhan of Foodology of the two neighbours - West Bengal and Bangladesh. It is a delectable fusion of spices, select vegetables and meats to create this memorable gourmet journey. We promise you that this Puja will remain in your memory for a lifetime when you become our guest”, said Mr Gaurav Sharma, Operations Manager, Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport.
