MUMBAI, OCTOBER 15, 2025: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, continues its accelerated growth momentum in the first half of FY2026 with 46 signings and 26 new openings which includes 14 additions through the marketing and distribution partnership with Brij Hospitality and Clarks Group of Hotels.
Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President - Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “Reflective of the growing potential of the mid-scale to upscale segment, a significant share of the 46 signings in the first half of this fiscal were across IHCL’s Gateway, Tree of Life and Ginger brands. This momentum in growth was enabled through multi hotel framework agreements with the Ambuja Neotia group for Taj, SeleQtions and Tree of Life brands and with Madison for the Ginger brand in south India.”
She added, “Expanding its footprint, hotels under Taj brand were signed in locations like Darjeeling, ECR Chennai, Pondicherry, Mohali and in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Fueled by this strong growth, IHCL is well poised to achieve its goal of a 700-hotel portfolio under its strategy - Accelerate 2030.”
