Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru Celebrates Makar Sankranti with Colour, Culture and Community

Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru is set to celebrate Makar Sankranti with two days of interactive festivities for the entire family on 10th and 11th January. Marking the mid-winter harvest festival and the sun’s northward journey, the celebrations bring together tradition, cultural expression, and hands-on activities, offering visitors a meaningful and engaging way to experience the festive spirit.

The celebrations take flight on 10th January with a Kite Making and Flying Competition, inviting participants to design, create, and soar their own kites—capturing the true essence and joy of the harvest festival.

On 11th January, the mall transforms into a vibrant canvas of colour with a Rangoli Competition and an interactive Rangoli Workshop, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in hands-on experiences that celebrate traditional patterns, techniques, and festive artistry.
