PAN India, December 16, 2025:- As Uttar Pradesh witnesses an unprecedented surge in domestic and international tourism, the Tata Group shared a comprehensive update on its hospitality expansion plans during discussions with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The engagement reflects strong confidence in the State’s accelerating tourism momentum, supported by major gains in connectivity, infrastructure modernisation and sustained growth in visitor footfall across spiritual, cultural and heritage circuits.
The Tata Group confirmed that 30 hotels, comprising approximately 1,900 rooms, are currently under development across Uttar Pradesh. These projects span a mix of the Group’s flagship hospitality brands, aimed at addressing rising demand for high-quality accommodation across key tourism, pilgrimage and business corridors, while supporting year-round tourism flows.
Beyond the current pipeline, an additional 30 hotels are planned by 2026, further reinforcing Uttar Pradesh’s status as one of India’s fastest-growing hospitality markets.
As part of strengthening business and institutional travel infrastructure, Tata Sons has proposed the development of a state-of-the-art Signature Hotel in Noida, envisioned as a premium hospitality and conferencing destination. The proposed property is expected to enhance Noida’s capacity for high-end corporate engagements, large conferences, events, supporting the region’s growing role as a commercial and institutional hub.
Government-led construction of first-phase of Museum of Temple Architecture at Ayodhya is progressing as planned, with completion targeted by January 2027, marking a major milestone in the State’s cultural and heritage development roadmap.
Discussions also covered proposed initiatives related to ghat clean-up and riverfront enhancement along the Ganga, aligned with cultural preservation, environmental sustainability and destination experience development.
Officials noted that the expanding hospitality ecosystem will play a catalytic role in extending visitor stays, generating local employment, supporting allied enterprises, and positioning Uttar Pradesh as a multi-season, globally competitive tourism economy.
