SINGAPORE, 23 JANUARY 2026: In a rare convergence of festive calendars, Grand Hyatt Singapore presents a season of double celebrations as Chinese New Year and Ramadan unfold within the same period. From joyous Chinese New Year reunions to heartwarming Iftar gatherings and Hari Raya revelry, the culinary team leads guests on a delicious journey of feasting, reflection and togetherness in this reimagined Grand Living Room.

Anchored by StraitsKitchen and The Shop, this extended festive season reflects Grand Hyatt Singapore’s philosophy of hospitality without boundary, where diverse traditions are honoured, cultures are celebrated, and meaningful connections are made around the dining table.

Chinese New Year: A Grand Reunion at StraitsKitchen

StraitsKitchen takes centre stage with a lavish buffet of Singapore’s most beloved signature dishes that honours traditions while catering to modern sensibilities.

The Chinese New Year’s Eve Reunion Dinner on 16 February, as well as lunch and dinner on the first two days of the new year on 17 and 18 February, are priced at SGD 118++ per adult and SGD 59++ per child. Each dining experience includes a complimentary Yu Sheng, symbolising prosperity, abundance, and shared aspirations for the year ahead.

Highlights from the festive buffet include Double Happiness and Good Luck Yu Sheng with smoked Atlantic salmon, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall featuring a rich double-boiled chicken broth with abalone and dried scallop, wok-fried Alaska scallop with asparagus and lily bulb, braised dried oysters with black moss, crispy marble goby with sweet and sour plum sauce, and wok-fried Indo-China mud crab with salted egg yolk and curry leaf. The celebration concludes on a sweet note with Prosperous Traditional Crispy Rice Cake.

For those who wish to celebrate beyond the festive dates, à la carte Yu Sheng is available from 6 February to 3 March, offered in Medium (SGD 58++, serves four to six persons) and Large (SGD 78++, serves seven to ten persons) portions.
