Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel unveils its redesigned Lobby and Rbar, presenting a contemporary expression of Renaissance-inspired aesthetics shaped by metallic accents, layered textures and a blue palette that anchors the space with quiet sophistication.

The redesigned lobby sets the tone for arrival. Striped patterns echo the dynamism of the racetrack, while the statement rug draws from Navalgund’s renowned weaving tradition. Beyond this, the design incorporates cues from Karnataka’s broader craft landscape, grounding the space in local cultural context. Blue and silver-grey accents soften the architectural edges, and equestrian cues appear through metal detailing on the reception counter and navigators’ table. Leather elements in the seating add warmth, while Channapatna-inspired forms introduce colour and craft. Above the entrance, an origami-like lighting installation becomes the sculptural anchor of the room.

Steps away, the refreshed Rbar continues this design language through a dome reminiscent of the polo helmet, as suspended lighting and an easy transition between booths, lounge seating and alfresco pockets.

At Rbar, the culinary direction moves into a more cosmopolitan space. The food menu introduces Crab Brûlée, Lamb Pie, Confit Chicken and Bute Rod Sandwiches dishes prepared with technique-forward precision and an eye for modern flavour. An artisanal grazing board and a renewed dessert selection signal the bar’s shift toward a more considered, globally informed dining experience. The beverage menu has been expanded with signature cocktails such as the Renaissance Negroni with a strawberry-coconut twist, Aperol Margarita, Jasmine Gin Fizz, Great Gatsby and Botanicals in Glass, each built around a defined creative idea.
