In a special edition of Qissa, LOYA welcomes The Aubrey, the celebrated cocktail bar from Hong Kong, ranked #10 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars, for a remarkable bar takeover set amidst the restaurant’s warm, elegant interiors that reflect India’s rich craftsmanship and architectural heritage.
Leading this experience is Stefano Bussi, Diageo World Class Bartender of the Year – Hong Kong, whose cocktail philosophy blends refined technique, layered storytelling, and quiet drama. Known for its bold yet elegant bar program, The Aubrey brings Japanese izakaya-inspired cocktails crafted with umeshu, shochu, and Japanese highballs, creating a delicate balance of flavour, ritual, and surprise.
Paired with LOYA’s own culinary journey through the rich, spice-laden kitchens of Northern India, from the hills of Himachal and Kashmir to the river-fed plains of Punjab, this collaboration promises a sensorial dialogue between spice and subtlety, fire and finesse, rooted in authenticity and elevated through innovation.
