This September, Spice Terrace at JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru invites you to indulge in the timeless flavors of Awadh with a specially curated Royal Awadhi Pop-Up. Designed by Guest Chef Shahnawaz Qureshi, this menu pays homage to the culinary heritage of Lucknow, bringing age-old recipes to life with authentic flavors and regal presentation.
The journey begins with Shorba, featuring comforting broths like Gosht Yakhni Shorba, slow-simmered lamb broth with warming spices and Subz Badami Shorba, a creamy almond-enriched vegetable soup. Highlights include Shahi Tandoori Pomfret, Bhatti Ka Murgh for non-vegetarians, while vegetarians can relish Dahi Ke Kabab with Apple Jam and Palak Patta Anardana Chaat, besides of course the Shan-e-Awadh Kebabs.
Moving to the Main Courses, there are classics such as Nalli Nihari and Gosht Koh-e-Awadh star for meat lovers, while dishes like Mushroom Mattar Peshawari and Bhindi Anardana shine for vegetarians. Guests can also indulge in Khatirdari signatures like Murgh Mussallam and Dum Ki Raan, alongside Biranji rice staples such as Zafrani Pulao and Gosht Dum Parda Biryani. The experience concludes with Lucknowi desserts, from the ethereal Chowk Ka Malai Makkhan to Shahi Tukda Zafrani.
