This summer, Spice Terrace at JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru brings to life the Rampuri Festival, a celebration of one of India’s most refined and lesser-known royal cuisines. Curated by Khansama Nasir Hussain, who carries over three decades of culinary tradition from Rampur, the festival offers a rare opportunity to experience the region’s authentic flavours and timeless elegance in the heart of the city.

Hailing from a family of royal chefs, Chef Nasir carries forward a proud legacy from the kitchens of the Nawabs of Rampur. His cooking is rooted in time-honoured recipes passed down through generations, each dish a reflection of history, tradition, and refined taste.

Savour signature dishes such as the Taark Korma, slow-cooked to a luxurious richness, and the rustic Chappli Kebab, bursting with robust flavour. The Sambhal Seekh Kebab brings a smoky charm, while the Chungezi Murgh layers creaminess and spice in perfect harmony.

For mains, indulge in the regal Murgh Begam Bahar, the hearty Ratalu ke Nehari made with purple yam, and the aromatic Shaljam Zafrani, a tribute to Rampur’s subtle vegetarian artistry. At the heart of the festival lies the Muradabadi Biryani, a trending favourite known for its fragrant spices and delicate layering.

End your culinary journey with the bold yet indulgent Mirchi Ka Halwa, a dessert that surprises with its warmth and richness.
