At the heart of this culinary experience isChef Rajendran, a master of South Indian cuisines and a revered name at the iconicTaj Coromandel, Chennai. With over 25 years of experience, his cooking is deeply rooted in the flavours of Tamil Nadu, honed through years of working across Chettinad, Thanjavur, and Chennai. Trained under the legendary Master Chef Natarajan and inspired by his mother’s kitchen, Chef Rajendran brings authenticity and mastery to every dish.
The menu is a refined showcase of Southern India’s culinary artistry, highlighting a host of signature creations such asRoyyala Iguru(prawns simmered in a rich coconut, cashew, and Andhra spice blend),Kozhi Melagu Curry(chicken in a fiery black pepper and fennel gravy),Meen Pollichathu(Kerala-style fish cooked in spices and wrapped in banana leaf),Mutton Pepper Fry(succulent mutton slow-cooked with onion, curry leaves, and freshly ground pepper) among others.Vegetarian highlights include Pachakari Kuruma (seasonal vegetables in a creamy coconut and cashew curry), Kuzhi Paniyaram (crispy rice and lentil dumplings served with fiery onion relish) and more.
