This August, Thailand arrives in Bengaluru in its truest, most flavorful form. InAzia at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel and Convention Centre presents an exclusive Thai pop-up, crafted by two culinary torchbearers; award-winning Chef Rungtiwa, known for her soulful, heritage-driven cooking, and visiting Chef Bongkot from JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, who brings a progressive, playful lens to tradition.

The menu is a journey through Thailand’s contrasts,  the vibrance of its streets and the elegance of its traditions. Begin with Som Tam Thad, a Bangkok-style green papaya salad platter, or the playful Goong Phan Aoy, shrimp cakes wrapped around sugarcane sticks. The much-loved Hua Hin spring rolls and citrusy Yam Som O pomelo salad showcase freshness at its peak.

From the curry pot, expect soulful depth,  the heirloom Mother Recipe Crab Curry simmered with southern spices, or the comforting Panang Curry with salmon or prawns. For mains, the pandan-perfumed Gai Hor Bai Toey, wok-fired Thalay Phad Num Prik Pao, and tamarind-glazed Pla Sauce Makham highlight the chefs’ finesse in balancing bold flavors with delicate notes.

End on a sweet note with the velvety Sang-Ka-Ya-Fak-Tong pumpkin custard or nostalgic Ice Cream Bo-Ran, coconut ice cream layered with jackfruit, peanut, and ruby jelly.
