Panaji, Goa, India] –02nd December 2024 – Goa Marriott Resort and Spa is set to host a ten-day Awadhi culinary extravaganza, Awadh Ki Zaika, from November 29th to December 8th, 2024, at the Waterfront Terrace and Bar. This exclusive dinner buffet, available from 7 PM to 11 PM, is a flavorful journey of aroma of rich Awadhi cuisine from the royal kitchen of Nawabs, with celebrated Guest Chef Abdul Haleem.
The festival will feature traditional Awadhi dishes, known for their robust flavors and unique ingredients, including signature items such as Galawati Kebab, Murgh Tikka Hasnu, Mahi Dum Kebab, Paneer Murgh Nishapuri, Aloo Tukri Lazeez, Chalabdari Pasanda, Aloo Dum Awadhi, Zafrani Dum Pulao, Khameeri Roti, Nehari Gosht, Warqi Paratha. These delicacies reflect the heart and soul of Awadhi cuisine, offering guests an unforgettable dining experience steeped in history and culture.
For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert spread will include regional favorites like Dabal Roti Ka Halwa, Sheer Khurma, Shahi Tukdaensuring a perfect end to the feast. The bar will complement the menu with a selection of special cocktails and mocktails crafted for the occasion.
Chef Abdul Haleem, originally from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and has garnered recognition for his mastery of Awadhi cuisine. His expertise, shines through in every dish he creates.
