This Pongal, The Verandah is introducing festive meals shared at home to the travellers, the non locals and people staying away from home. The specially curated menu brings together dishes that have long been part of traditional Pongal celebrations.
Guests can savour dishes such as the comforting Khara Pongal, the Mango Chitranna atypical dish of Karnataka, Avial, Surrakkai Kootu, Avarekai Palya, Palak Pappu, Cabbage Poriyal, Kosimbiri, and Dahi Vada, each prepared to reflect the warmth and simplicity of the harvest table in Karnataka.
