This January, that rich diversity takes centre stage as Prego at The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi brings Italy’s soulful culinary narrative to the capital with an exclusive four-hands dining showcase celebrating heritage, authenticity, and refined craftsmanship.

From 14th to 16th January 2026, Expat Chef Davide Di Domenico, the creative force behind Prego’s acclaimed Italian kitchen, joins hands with Guest Expat Chef Christian Huber from Alto Vino, JW Marriott Hotel Pune’s signature Italian dining destination, to curate a three-day gastronomic journey inspired by Italy’s evocative north–south culinary story.

More than a collaboration, this experience is a meeting of philosophies - where the comforting richness of Northern Italian cuisine harmoniously converges with the expressive warmth and vibrancy of the South. Chef Huber brings with him Alpine influences, slow-cooked techniques, indulgent textures, and soulful northern classics, while Chef Davide showcases his distinctly southern sensibility with fresh produce, bold yet elegant flavours, and beautifully expressive plates. Together, they present a limited-edition menu that reflects shared passion, regional contrasts, and a deep reverence for traditional Italian cooking.

Guests can look forward to signature highlights including delicate spinach and ricotta dumplings, rustic duck ragout with bigoli, and the iconic Ossobuco alla Milanese served with saffron risotto and bone marrow jus - timeless tributes to Milanese culinary heritage. Complementing these are Chef Davide’s theatrical southern expressions such as the Live Buffalo Carpaccio carved tableside and indulgent pasta classics like Agnolotti Carbonara where creamy pecorino, crisp pancetta, and black pepper come together in comforting harmony.

The experience extends gracefully beyond mains, with a thoughtfully curated selection of entrées such as Truffle & Mushroom Soup with parmesan fondue, Fonduta with tempura vegetables, and Burrata with roasted pumpkin and balsamic - reflecting both chefs’ shared love for seasonality, simplicity, and elegance.

Desserts pay homage to Italy’s cherished dolci traditions, featuring indulgences such as Alto Vino’s signature Chocolate Pudding with vanilla bean ice cream, a delicate Vanilla Panna Cotta with Aperol jelly, and Prego’s much-loved live Tiramisu.
