Mumbai, April 15th 2025: Ummrao, the signature fine-dining restaurant at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, is delighted to welcome back the celebrated Chef Manzilat Fatima for the second edition of “The Royal Rivayat” — a limited-time culinary showcase of timeless Awadhi cuisine, enriched with a unique Calcutta-style twist that reflects the chef’s royal heritage and personal culinary journey.

Following the overwhelming response to her previous collaboration, Chef Manzilat returns with her treasured family recipes, offering a rare opportunity to savour the rich, nuanced flavours of royal Awadh. This pop-up promises a deeper, more immersive gastronomic journey through traditional dishes that have stood the test of time.

Guests can look forward to an exquisite selection of preparations, including the legendary Calcutta-style Aloo Biryani, the indulgent Haleem, and the delicately spiced Galauti Kebabs — each crafted with precision and love, true to their regal roots.

The specially curated vegetarian set menu, priced at ₹3,200++, features comforting starters such as Mili Juli Sabzi ka Shorba, Chatpati Paneer Handi Kebab, Subz Zaffrani Kebab, and Ramzan Veg Haleem. The main course showcases dishes like Paneer Rezala, Jhatpat Singhade ki Subzi, and Hari Satpaita Dal, complemented by Kathal Biryani, Ulta Tawa Paratha, and Birahi Paratha. End your meal with indulgent desserts including Shahi Kesar Halwa and Shahi Badam Kheer.

A non-vegetarian set menu, priced at ₹3,700++, and an à la carte menu will also be available. Guests can elevate their experience with a cocktail paired set menu for an additional ₹1,000++.

The Royal Rivayat will be hosted at Ummrao from April 10th to April 20th, 2025, with service available daily from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
