India, 7th November 2025 - Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, Sri Lanka’s iconic integrated resort and lifestyle hub, concluded its first post-launch roadshow across key Indian cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad marking a significant step in strengthening tourism and MICE partnerships between India and Sri Lanka.

Led by Sanjiv Hulugalle, CEO and General Manager of Cinnamon Life, and Padmi Fernando, Director of Sales and Marketing, the roadshow convened India’s leading corporates, travel partners, and event planners to showcase Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams as the new benchmark for MICE and lifestyle experiences in South Asia, while highlighting Colombo’s emergence as a premier regional hub for business and leisure.

India continues to play a pivotal role in Sri Lanka’s tourism landscape, contributing over 50% of Cinnamon Life’s total arrivals since its launch. The property has already welcomed leading Indian corporates for high-profile MICE events, including Bajaj, Aditya Birla, Lenovo, and UltraTech Cement, with large-scale conferences exceeding 1,500 delegates scheduled for November. In addition, four destination Indian weddings are set to take place at Cinnamon Life before the end of the year, underscoring the property’s growing appeal for celebrations and large gatherings.

The momentum from India mirrors the broader tourism trend, with steady growth in Indian arrivals over recent months - 49,697 visitors in September (31.3% share), 46,473 in August (23.4%), and 37,128 in July (18.5%) further cementing India as Sri Lanka’s strongest source market.
