As padel fever sweeps across Asia Pacific, Club Med blazes the trail with regional tournaments that will culminate in the Grand Slam at Club Med Bali from 6 to 9 November 2025

Singapore, 18 September 2025 – Padel, one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, has arrived in style at Club Med, the global leader in premium all-inclusive holidays. To commemorate the brand’s 75th anniversary, Club Med presented the inaugural Club Med Padel Cup across Asia Pacific in honour of its legacy of active living and community spirit while remaining at the forefront of meaningful travel.

The tournament kicked off in Singapore with the Club Med Prime Open at the newly opened Prime Padel Dempsey from 15 to 17 August, drawing nearly 1,000 spectators over a thrilling weekend. A total of 112 teams competed in 169 matches, showcasing the dynamic, social, and accessible nature of padel—values that align seamlessly with Club Med’s ethos of energy, inclusivity, and connection. Winners Anais Gomar and Timote Loew will go on to represent Singapore at the Grand Slam at Club Med Bali from 6 to 9 November, where national champions from various Asian countries will play for the ultimate prize: a five-night stay at Club Med Marbella, Spain, and exclusive Babolat gear.

After three days of intense play, Anais Gomar and Timote Loew emerged as Singapore’s champions, with Larissa Lim and Sergil Dolmans as worthy finalists.

"Padel is more than a sport – it’s a way for people to connect around a shared passion,". "By introducing padel across our sun resorts – currently available at our resorts in Bali, Bintan, Phuket, and the Maldives, with more to come - we celebrate the momentum behind this sport and open new opportunities for our guests to enjoy it. As part of our 75th anniversary, the launch of the Padel Cup reflects Club Med’s commitment to supporting the development of lifestyle sports and to creating experiences that bring joy, connection, and freedom — that’s l’Esprit Libre.”
