This June, the campaign Dekho Apna Desh by Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield has turned Sundays into soulful reunions, one region at a time. As the series draws to a close, we bring the heart of India to your plate with the vibrant flavours of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh.

For those living far from their homes, this weekend offers more than just a great meal. It’s a fragrant, spice-laced ticket to memory lane. A culinary homecoming, lovingly prepared by Executive Sous Chef Santosh Kr Pal, who will be taking diners on a journey woven with personal nostalgia, plating memories from his school days in the form of dishes that feel like stories told through spice.

Dig into Kathal ki Subzi, where tender pieces of jackfruit are slow-cooked in traditional masalas. Relish the crispy perfection of Bhaseede ki Tuk, shallow-fried chunks of Yam with golden edges and a subtle smoky aroma that takes you straight to a village kitchen.

The Banarsi Chaat counter brings a medley of textures and flavours tangy tamarind, spicy chutneys, and crunchy fried bits, creating an explosion of tastes that transport you to the bustling ghats of Varanasi.

And just when you think you’ve tasted it all, the dessert spread welcomes you into a sweet embrace. End your meal with the comforting warmth of Rabdi Jalebi hot, syrupy coils paired with thick, creamy milk reduction and explore more sweets that dot the table, each a classic in its own right.
