The Murshidabad Food Festival is a tribute to a rich and layered cuisine shaped by the influences of Persia, the Mughal courts, and Bengal’s own culinary traditions.

In an exciting collaboration, Chef Rehman and Executive Chef Sajid have joined hands to recreate the essence of this lost royal cuisine. With deep roots in culinary history and a passion for storytelling through food, the chefs have carefully curated a menu that revives age-old recipes once served in the opulent dining halls of Murshidabad’s nawabs. Chef Mujeeb Ur Rehman, born in the heart of Lucknow and raised on stories of the Nawabs and their refined tastes, draws upon a remarkable family legacy—his great-grandfather once served in the Royal Kitchen of Awadh. Today, Chef Rehman is widely respected for reviving the culinary richness of India's royal past, translating ancient traditions into unforgettable dining experiences. Alongside Chef Sajid, he brings this knowledge to Feast, crafting a festival that is as much about culture and history as it is about food.

Guests can indulge in dishes like Murshidabadi Murgh Rezala, a delicate white curry perfumed with saffron and kewra; Gosht Pulao paired with rich khoya-stuffed koftas; and Nawabi Shammi Kebabs, infused with warm spices and finished on a griddle. The sweet offerings are equally decadent, featuring Sheer Khurma, Khubani halwa, Aam Gulati and much more!
