KRABI, Thailand (Sept. 3, 2025) — Visitors to the serene resort of Banyan Tree Krabi can experience the lunar eclipse this Sunday while immersing themselves in an evening of reflection, release and renewal.

Beginning at 6pm on the beachfront lawn on Sunday, 7 September 2025, the hotel’s Wellbeing Practitioner Dr Subhash Shanbhag will lead a class in the art of breathwork meditation, followed by the soothing tones of Tibetan singing bowls, inspiring inner calm and an awe for nature.

The climax of the evening will be the appearance in the night sky of a “blood moon”, a relatively rare phenomenon happening when the Earth casts its shadow over the Moon, causing it to appear red.

Weather permitting, it’s sure to be a memorable sight. Banyan Tree Krabi enjoys an idyllic location to view the starry sky on tranquil Tubkaek Beach, and each of its 72 rooms and suites face the beach and the spectacular limestone cliffs emerging from the emerald Andaman Sea.
