Bengaluru, September 2025: JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru proudly celebrates Mharo Khet’s dining experience once again, “Feast of Life,” now in its second edition. On 26 and 27 September 2025, ALBA at JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru will host this extraordinary nine-course tasting menu, a culinary journey inspired by India’s terroir and interpreted with contemporary finesse.
Conceptualised by Head Chef Ishan Ahluwalia, the menu reads like a lyrical memoir, tracing the arc of life from the curiosity of childhood and the boldness of adolescence to the layered complexities of adulthood, the meditative grace of midlife, the rejuvenating energy of later years, and the quiet coda of eternity. Each plate is designed as a chapter, reflecting sustainability, heritage and a spirit of innovation, culminating in an experience that is immersive, evocative and refined.
Signature courses include Spinach Tempura layered with Herbed Yogurt and fragrant Basil; Sweet Melon Crudo with Coconut Aji Verde, Curry Leaf and Sorghum Crackle; Walnut Tostada with Corn Cream, Oyster Mushroom and Nasturtium; Kachori Tartlet with Tempered Potatoes, Onion Jam and Jalapeno Thecha; Solkadhi nuanced with Chocolate; Baby Corn Polenta with Parmesan Yakhni, Cilantro Emulsion and Black Garlic; Squash Paturi in Kerala Pollichathu style with Red Rice; Stewed Apple with Salted Oats and Lemon Whip; and a Millet Chocolate Cake crowned with Coconut Jaggery Toffee, Honeycomb and fresh Berries.
Originating from a 40-acre desert sanctuary in Jodhpur, Mharo Khet is renowned for its architectural beauty, artisanal interiors and cultivation of over a hundred seasonal crops. This Bengaluru pop-up extends its philosophy of terroir-led fine dining, rooted in sustainability, steeped in heritage and expressed with a modern sensibility.
