MYSURU 21.10.2025: ibis Styles Mysuru presents “Ruchi Yatre: Mandya to Mysuru” Bringing together the rustic heartlands of Mandya and the grandeur of Mysuru’s royal kitchens, a culinary travel experience on a plate.This specially curated experience celebrates the diverse flavours of Karnataka through an authentic spread that reflects both heritage and tradition.
Hosted at The Verandah, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, the experience takes guests on a culinary journey celebrating the earthy flavours of Mandya and the royal heritage of Mysuru. Curated by Head Chef Gaurav Bansal and his team, the menu features highlights such as the rustic Bannur Motte Boti Fry and the fiery Hunsur Anabe Ney Roast to start. Mains include the aromatic Mysuru Mamsa Saaru, a slow-cooked mutton curry, and the comforting Srirangapatna Enne Badnekai Gassi, a stuffed brinjal delicacy cooked in roasted coconut gravy.
The rice spread features Bannur Naati Mamsa Palav and H.D. Kote Anabe Palav, both rich in local flavours, paired with traditional accompaniments like Mandya Ragi Mudde and Mysuru Akki Rotti. The experience concludes on a sweet note with Royal Mysuru Pak and Srirangapatna Hesarubele Payasa, rounding off a true gastronomic yatre of the region.
