Mumbai, October 2025: Sofitel Mumbai BKC invites guests to experience the grandeur of Rampur’s royal kitchens with Dawat-e-Rampur at its signature Indian restaurant, Jyran – Tandoor Dining & Lounge. Curated by Chef Waris Qureshi, this limited-time festival transports diners into the Nawabi culinary legacy that once flourished under the princely state of Rampur.

Renowned for its subtle use of spices, refined flavours, and innovative techniques, Rampuri cuisine represents a confluence of Awadhi, Mughlai, Afghan, Rajput, and Kashmiri influences. Chef Waris brings this regal repertoire to life with heirloom recipes reimagined for the modern palate. Guests can savour signature dishes such as Gosht Dashtar-e-Faizullah, Saundha Murgh Tikka, and Sambhal Gosht ke Sheekh, along with lesser-known delicacies like Arvi Talmakhane ka Qorma and the indulgent Hari Mirch Mawe ka Halwa.
