Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara Announces the Appointment of Ruksar Ali as Finance Controller

Vadodara, India – September 2025 – Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara is proud to announce the  appointment of Ruksar Ali as its new Finance Controller. With over ten years of diverse experience across  leading hospitality brands, Ruksar brings a wealth of financial expertise, operational insight, and  leadership acumen that will play a vital role in supporting the hotel’s strategic growth. 

Ruksar’s career in hospitality finance has been marked by steady progression and notable achievements.  He began his journey in Bareilly before moving into finance roles with Hotel Swarn Towers and Lebua  Hotels in Lucknow. His dedication and strong grasp of financial systems soon led him to join Marriott  International, where he served in multiple properties including Renaissance Lucknow, JW Marriott  Chandigarh, and JW Marriott Kolkata. At Kolkata, he rose to the position of Assistant Finance Controller,  where he managed an annual operation of INR 202 crore, oversaw statutory compliance, led month-end  closings, and guided financial decision-making across departments such as Rooms, F&B, and Spa. His  ability to streamline reporting processes, enforce internal controls, and enhance cost efficiencies earned  him recognition as a trusted finance leader. 

Equipped with an MBA in Finance from Integral University, Lucknow, and a B.Com degree from MJP  Rohilkhand University, Ruksar has built strong technical expertise in financial software including Oracle  PeopleSoft, Opera, IDS 6i, BirchStreet, and Tally ERP 9. His skills in budgeting, forecasting, payroll  analysis, taxation, and compliance are complemented by his hands-on leadership approach and ability to  collaborate across hotel operations. 

In his new role as Finance Controller at Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara, Ruksar will be responsible for  driving the property’s financial strategy, ensuring sound fiscal management, and supporting the hotel’s  mission of delivering exceptional guest experiences with operational excellence.
