TIARA @ Meluha, The Fern is celebrating Independence Week by showcasing the rich culinary heritage of the country. A food festival, “Flavors of Undivided India,” will be held from August 8th onwards and will continue until August 15th.

Each day of the festival will be dedicated to one region of the country, bringing the unique flavors of that area to the plate. The menu has been designed keeping in mind the food preferences of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food lovers.

The eight-day-long festival will serve food from the following zones:

·        North (Punjab, Delhi, Kashmir, UP & Uttarakhand)

·        South (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh)

·        Central (Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh)

·        Saurashtra (Gujarat & Rajasthan)

·        East (Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal)

·        West (Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka)

Informing about the festival, Culinary Director Parimal Sawant said: “We have done a lot of research and tried to create a menu encompassing all the major zones of the country. The idea is to highlight the diverse and rich culinary heritage of India.”
