Imagine a feast where ancient Tamil recipes find their perfect partner in world-class wines.On 29th August 2025, Sangamithirai at Feathers Hotel,  presents “Flavours, Stories & Pairings” — an exclusive wine dinner crafted incollaboration with Jacob’s Creek.

This one-night-only dining experience brings alive the legendary Karikalan Virundhu, paired with a handpicked selection of wines, curated by celebrated wine ambassador Antara Kini. Guests can look forward to an indulgent journey that pairs Tamil Nadu’s soulful classics with global vintages, weaving a tale of spice, aroma, and heritage in every sip.

The bespoke six-course journey traverses the landscapes of Tamilakam from Chettinad to Kongu Nadu, coastal Kayalpattinam to Tirunelveli homes- re imagined in dishes like Vellattu Kheema on Podi Choux Bun, Mini Appam with Mushroom Coconut Chukka, Deep-Fried Maravalli Kizhangu Malli Lava, Eral Varuval with Malli Pesto, Mutton Nalli Biryani, and Paruthi Paal Halwa. Each course is artfully complemented with signature Jacob’s Creek selections, including the Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir, Classic Riesling, Merlot, Chardonnay, and the bold Double Barrel Shiraz — elevating every bite into a story of flavour and finesse.

From the delicate fizz of sparkling wines to the layered complexity of aged reds, every pour has been chosen to harmonize with native ingredients, spices, and techniques that define Sangamithirai’s culinary identity.
