- A ten-day culinary showcase of authentic flavours and timeless traditions
New Delhi, November 2025: Farmers’ Basket at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity announces the Parsi Food Festival, a ten-day celebration dedicated to the rich and storied culinary traditions of the Parsi community. From 7th to 16th November, guests are invited to experience an authentic gastronomic journey through the vibrant world of Parsi cuisine known for its distinct interplay of sweet, sour and spicy flavours.
The festival will feature a thoughtfully curated menu crafted by four accomplished home chefs — Jiggna Shah, Jennifer Bhagwagar, Kashmira Palia, and Bina Kathawala. Each chef brings a unique perspective shaped by diverse experiences, united by a shared passion for preserving and celebrating the rich legacy of Parsi cuisine. With decades of culinary wisdom, they have mastered the art of bringing traditional recipes to life with dishes that evoke the warmth of home-cooked meals while showcasing the distinctive techniques and cultural nuances that define true Parsi hospitality.
The menu will highlight signature dishes such as Patra Ni Machhi (steamed fish wrapped in banana leaf), Salli Boti (mutton cooked in a tangy tomato gravy with crisp potato straws), Dhansak (a wholesome lentil and meat preparation served with caramelised rice), Chicken Farcha (spiced fried chicken), and Lagan Nu Custard (a quintessential Parsi dessert) offering guests a taste of festive favourites and regional classics, each dish prepared using authentic ingredients and age-old methods that have been cherished across generations.
Manish Dayya, General Manager, Pullman and Novotel New Delhi Aerocity commented, “We continually strive to bring our guests authentic culinary experiences that celebrate flavours from across India and around the world. The Parsi Food Festival is another step in that journey, an opportunity to showcase a cuisine that beautifully blends heritage and heart. It’s a pleasure to have four accomplished home chefs take centre stage at Farmers’ Basket, curating dishes that are at the heart of every Parsi celebration and capturing the warmth and tradition this community is known for.”
Savour the elaborate menu for dinner on weekdays and as a special Sunday brunch where four talented chefs along with our culinary maestros present the Parsi Food Festival.
