K3 at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity | July 9th to 13th, 2025
In the quiet curve of a soup spoon, in the hum of lemongrass rising off a clay pot, in the flicker of candlelight against a lotus motif, Thailand arrives. Not as spectacle, but as spirit. This July, JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity invites you to step into “A Thai Culinary Journey with Chef Bongkot,” a five-day celebration of one of the world’s most soulful cuisines, set inside the ever-evolving stage of K3.
From Wednesday, July 9 to Sunday, July 13, the award-winning all-day dining restaurant will be transformed into a living postcard from Bangkok’s floating markets and Chiang Mai’s temples. Archways dressed in tropical blooms, soft lanterns swinging like memories, and golden-rimmed ceramic ware placed thoughtfully against bamboo placemats. This is Thailand as seen through the eyes of someone who has lived its every nuance.
The journey is guided by Chef Bongkot Sabpong, a master of balance and storytelling. Her food does not shout; it sings. With roots in Bangkok’s finest culinary institutions and stints in some of Southeast Asia’s most luxurious kitchens, Chef Bongkot brings a rare kind of authenticity. One that is quiet, precise, and deeply felt. Her cooking speaks the language of sanuk (joy) and namjai (generosity of spirit).
Each evening begins with the gentle offering of Nam Manao or a cool Butterfly Pea Flower Tea. Then, the journey unfolds: a Tom Yum station steaming with scent and memory, Pomelo Salad dressed like a midsummer dream, lemongrass-kissed chicken from the BBQ counter, and curries so fragrant they linger like poetry. Pad Thai is tossed to order and desserts such as Mango Sticky Rice and Tub Tim Krob arrive as small, shimmering acts of nostalgia.
On Sunday, a grand Thai brunch crowns the experience. With dim sum baskets, wok-fried specialties, and live Som Tum counters, it is a celebration not just of cuisine, but of culture, care, and coming together.
Live performances, graceful Thai dances, and the soft music of the Khim and Ranat punctuate the evenings, folding the senses into a warm, immersive embrace.
