The globally celebrated Goa Nights is bringing its magic to the city with an exclusive Bar Takeover at 2:59 The Bar, JW Marriott Kolkata, in collaboration with Dean With Us, on 10th and 11th October 2025. Known for its bold flavours, storytelling cocktails, and vibrant spirit, Goa Nights promises an unforgettable evening of creativity and celebration.

Since opening in Macau in 2018, Goa Nights has become an international name in mixology. From winning Best Bar in Macao (Non-Hotel) at The Bar Awards 2019, to being listed in Tatler Dining’s Best Restaurants 2021 (Hong Kong & Macau), to breaking into the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2021 (51–100 List) — its journey has been nothing short of spectacular. Most recently, Goa Nights was named among the Tatler Best 20 Bars in Macau (2025). Expanding beyond Macau, its Cebu outpost has also been recognised in the Tatler Best Philippines 2025 guide.

Goa Nights was born out of a desire to shake up Macau’s cocktail scene — breaking away from the hotel bars of Cotai and bringing something fresh to the heart of Taipa Village. Inspired by the owners’ family restaurant, Indian Spice, founders Gagan Sethi and Gwen Trott set out to create a vibrant space where modern Indian flavours meet inventive craft cocktails. The result was a fun, modern twist on Indian gastronomy, perfectly paired with unique beverages.

Carrying this philosophy forward, Goa Nights found a second home in Cebu in 2024 — embracing the challenge of introducing something new to the Philippine market while staying rooted in the Indian soul. With over 25 years of combined industry expertise, Gagan’s extensive restaurant experience across India, Macau, and Cebu blends seamlessly with Gwen’s creative passion — together, growing Goa Nights into a brand that celebrates culture, connection, and craftsmanship.

A familiar face to long-time Goa Nights patrons, Wilson Ricablanca is known for his approachable style and precision in cocktail-making. With a deep understanding of Goa Nights’ flavour philosophy, he crafts drinks that balance creativity with technical skill, often engaging guests in the process for a more immersive bar experience. Having honed his craft behind the bar at Goa Nights Macau since 2019, Wilson carried the same award-winning cocktails to Cebu in 2024, continuing to represent the spirit and experience of Goa Nights across borders.
