Mumbai, August 4th, 2025: Mumbai: Fenix at The Oberoi, Mumbai will host Lead Chef Randy Cultivo of Wabi Sabi, The Oberoi, Bengaluru for a three-day pop-up from 13th to 15th August 2025.

With the ambience of a sophisticated “Living Room” enhanced by stylish furnishings and a refreshing, open layout, it is a welcoming and refined space for culinary exploration. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese philosophy that honours the beauty of imperfection and impermanence, Wabi Sabi at The Oberoi, Bengaluru presents guests with a gourmet experience that spans traditional Japanese cuisines with Nikkei highlights.
Originally from the Philippines, Chef Randy already had over 20 years’ culinary experience working in kitchens everywhere from The UAE to Mauritius before joining the team at The Oberoi, Bengaluru. Chef Randy Cultivo’s unique and engaging menu at Wabi Sabi features innovative dishes with surprising layers of texture and flavour that are enriched by seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients.

The pop-up menu at Fenix will feature some of Chef Randy’s most popular dishes from Wabi Sabi; sushi, sashimi, nigiri, Nikkei, robata and chilled plates. From his Signature Tiradito to Crunchy Crunchy Bang Bang vegetarian tempura, Otoro Carpaccio with flying fish roe, Chilled Kuzu Noodle Salad, Bonfire Shrimps and Pork Belly; all topped off with an irresistible selection of handcrafted sweet surprises.
