Vadodara, India – Hyatt Place Vadodara, the first Hyatt Place hotel in Gujarat, is delighted to announce 'Mama’s Pizzeria x La Piazza', a 10-day Italian food festival bringing the true taste of Italy to the city. The festival, themed "From Italy, With Love" marks an exclusive collaboration with Chef Fabrizio Berretta, Chef de Cuisine at La Piazza, Hyatt Regency Delhi, and represents his debut culinary showcase in Vadodara. The festival will be hosted at Zing, the hotel’s multi-cuisine restaurant, from 21st March to 30th March 2025, offering an immersive dining experience.
This festival is a significant event for Vadodara, introducing an authentic Italian fine dining experience inspired by one of the capital’s most esteemed restaurants. With a deep-rooted passion for Italian gastronomy, Chef Fabrizio will present a menu that celebrates traditional techniques and the finest ingredients, expertise, time-honoured techniques, and premium imported ingredients, such as Pecorino Romano, Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes, and arborio rice. The specially curated menu selection caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, featuring signature dishes including Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti Plin, Asparagus Saffron Risotto, Eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken Primavera, and Classic Tiramisu, among others. Each dish promises to transport diners to the rustic trattorias of Italy, where food is more than a meal, it’s a cultural experience. Guests can savour Neapolitan pizzas, crisp and bubbling straight from the wood-fired oven, enjoy freshly rolled pasta made live and served hot, and engage in interactive sessions with Chef Fabrizio as he shares the secrets of authentic Italian cooking.
