ITC Grand Central Illuminates the Season with Its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

ITC Grand Central, Mumbai, ushered in the festive season with its much-loved Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, held on 29th November 2025 at the hotel’s majestic lobby. The evening marked the official start of the holiday celebrations, bringing together guests, patrons, and the community for a heartwarming moment of togetherness.

This year, the hotel unveiled a magnificent 15-foot Christmas tree, glowing in classic shades of red, green, and gold. Flanked by two charming nutcracker installations, the tree stood as a testament to artistry and detail, crafted over 200 dedicated man-hours. A whimsical Gingerbread House further enlivened the lobby, filling the space with comforting aromas and festive nostalgia.

Following the ceremonial lighting, guests indulged in an elegant High Tea experience, featuring an array of sweet and savoury delicacies curated to complement the warmth of the occasion.

Highlighting the significance of the moment, the Tree Lighting Ceremony served as more than a visual spectacle; it symbolised hope, unity, and the timeless tradition of welcoming light as a reminder of joy and renewal. For many, the lighting of the tree marks the beginning of the season of giving, reflection, and celebration, making it one of the most meaningful rituals at ITC Grand Central.
