JW Marriott Kolkata is bringing the magic of Kashmir to the city with its ‘Kashmiri Khaas’ festival, a celebration of Kashmiri cuisine's rich flavours and heritage. From 21st February to 2nd March 2025, with a special curated menu for dinner that highlights the essence of traditional Wazwan, offering an unforgettable taste of paradise.
Kashmir, often referred to as “heaven on earth,” is celebrated not just for its breathtaking landscapes but also for its soulful cuisine. The Kashmiri Khaas festival showcases some of the region’s most iconic dishes, including Tabak Maaz (crispy fried lamb ribs), Gushtaba (tender lamb meatballs in yoghurt) and Rista Roganjosh (mutton dumplings in a spiced red curry). Vegetarian favourites like Methi Tsaman (paneer with fresh fenugreek), Dum Aloo (baby potatoes in Kashmiri-style gravy), Kashmiri Haakh (sautéed mustard greens) and Nadru Yakhni (lotus stem in creamy yoghurt curry) round out the menu, ensuring there’s something special for everyone.
