Traditional Food, Rich Culture, and Festive Fun Come Together to Honour Maharashtra Day

Maharashtra: On the momentous occasion of Maharashtra Day on 1st of May, Kamat Hotel Ind Ltd have come up with a grand celebration titled “Flavours of Maharashtra”, spanning across its hotels in Mumbai, Pune, Lonavala, Nashik, and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar from May 1st to 4th. More than just a celebration, it’s a heartfelt tribute to the Asmita and Aabhimaan that define Maharashtra.

The celebration rests on three vibrant pillars – Food, Culture, and Fun – each brought to life through a thoughtfully curated experience. Guests are welcomed with the resounding call of the Tutari, greeted with a traditional Namaskar, and adorned with Puneri topis, instantly drawing them into a world of Marathi pride and heritage. The lobbies come alive with folk performances—from the soulful verses of Abhang and Kirtan to the dynamic beats of Lezim and Lavani.
