Monsoon High Tea at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai

As the city settles into the rhythm of the rains, Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai introduces a beautiful experience to savour the season. The Mumbai Monsoon High Tea, curated by the hotel’s new Executive Chef Aditya Kulkarni, offers the city’s most beloved dishes with a twist of global flavours.

Hosted at Opus, the hotel’s elegant all-day dining destination, the high tea experience brings timeless comfort and thoughtful creativity with relaxed warmth, which fits seamlessly into a space that blends Art Deco charm.

At the heart of the experience is Chef Aditya Kulkarni, a Mumbai boy whose culinary journey has taken him across the UK, Middle East and Southeast Asia, but always returns to the flavours of home. Known for his love of cooking local cuisine with a fresh perspective, Chef Aditya brings a personal touch to this menu.

Guests can look forward to monsoon favourites with unexpected twists like the Gulab Jamun Éclairs, Lychee Rabdi, and a delicate Gulkand Rose Mille-feuille, alongside more playful monsoon staples. Even the corn chaat, served in traditional kullads, comes dressed in new flavours like peri peri, cheese and BBQ.  Savouries range from vada pav sliders and classic Bombay sandwiches to heartier bites such as BBQ chicken buns, kheema pav and Thai-style prawn cakes.

The food is complemented by a thoughtful selection of teas from single estate Indian blends to handpicked global varieties, all chosen to pair beautifully with the menu and the mood of the season. A rotating dessert selection adds further dimension, with creations like the chai cream tart and jasmine tea panna cotta offering elegant, contemporary takes on familiar notes.

“This menu reflects not just the flavours of Mumbai, but the memories and moods that come with them. It’s a celebration of the season, seen through the eyes of a chef who’s been all around the globe with the memories of Mumbai monsoons always close,” says Nitesh Gandhi, General Manager.

This high tea invites guests to unwind with comforting food, warm memories, good company and the rain just outside the window.
