November 2025: Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island proudly concludes the Kilo of Kindness 2025 campaign, commemorating the 10th global anniversary of Mövenpick’s signature charitable initiative and collecting 463 kilos of essential items for underprivileged communities in Ras Al Khaimah.

In partnership for the second consecutive year with the Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi Charitable Educational Foundation, the resort continued its commitment to giving back by placing a dedicated donation box in the lobby from 14 October to 15 November 2025, inviting in-house guests, visitors and the wider community to contribute.

This year, Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island enhanced the campaign’s reach and engagement with a social media-driven activation titled “Donate & Tag Your Friends”. The initiative encouraged community participation, with the individual contributing the highest total kilos winning a complimentary stay at the resort. Additionally, all donors received a complimentary beverage from choice outlets, Moca Lobby Lounge, Boons Brasserie & Bar, or Neo Sky Bar as a gesture of appreciation.

Items donated included clothing, non-perishable food, educational supplies, books, toys, household items and personal care essentials, all delivered to the foundation, which supports charitable schools, learning centers, people of determination, agricultural rehabilitation programs and gifted students across Ras Al Khaimah.

Marking a decade of global impact, the 2025 Kilo of Kindness campaign brought together 75+ Mövenpick hotels in 30 countries, continuing a legacy built on the belief that small acts of kindness can bring meaningful change.

The official handover ceremony took place on 20th November 2025 at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, attended by representatives from both the Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Charitable Educational Foundation and the resort team. Her Highness Mrs. Sumaya Abdulla Bin Hareb Al Suwaidi, along with Mr. Hamad Ahmed Al Hammadi, Deputy Director General of the Foundation, were present alongside key heads of departments and Hotel Manager Amr Baragith, representing Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island.
