Novotel Ahmedabad has proudly earned the esteemed Green Key Certification, becoming the second hotel in Gujarat and the western region of India to be awarded this global eco-label. This recognition underscores the hotel's unwavering commitment to sustainable hospitality and responsible tourism.

Green Key is an internationally recognized certification within the hospitality industry, awarded to establishments that demonstrate high environmental standards. The rigorous certification process involved a comprehensive audit led by Mr. Jagat Mangaraj, National Operator for Green Key India, who assessed Novotel Ahmedabad’s performance in critical areas such as energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, and sustainable operations.

Key initiatives at Novotel Ahmedabad, including the establishment of an in-house water bottling plant, the elimination of single-use plastics, a comprehensive food waste management system, and collaborations with BUFF India to recycle even the smallest waste, were instrumental in securing this prestigious certification. Additionally, the hotel has made significant strides in reducing its carbon footprint through the introduction of eco-friendly transportation options, such as electric vehicle services like MyByk, alongside many other sustainability initiatives.
