As the air fills with the scent of 'kaash phool,' pandals rise across the city, and vibrant lights illuminate the streets, Kolkata eagerly awaits the arrival of Goddess Durga to shower her blessings. In keeping with the spirit of the festival, Novotel Kolkata has curated a splendid array of experiences to ensure guests can fully immerse themselves in the festive joy. The grand and opulent Durgabari Mahabhoj will take place at The Square from Sashthi to Dashami (October 9th to 12th’24). Our patrons can indulge in a sumptuous buffet, offering a delightful blend of Asian and Western cuisines. Highlights include traditional Bengali dishes- mutton kasha, chicken kasha with luchi, and traditional Bengali Fish with Mustard Sauce, among many other delicacies. Enhancing the experience, guests will be immersed in the spirit of Durga Puja with traditional recitations, vibrant dhaaki drumming, the iconic Dhunuchi dance, and Puja Parikrama (pandal hopping). The restaurant will be adorned with stunning decorations, thematic lighting, and intricately crafted Durga idols, showcasing the finest artistry of skilled craftsmen.     

Ministry of Kebabs invites guests to savour an exquisite selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian kebabs and biryanis, featuring popular favourites like Murgh Kali Mirch, Tandoori Sarsoon Jhinga, and Zafrani Paneer Tikka, among others. This lavish feast will be available for both lunch and dinner throughout the festival, concluding on a sweet note with indulgent desserts such as Phirnee, Gulab Jamun, and the beloved Jalebi Rabri.

For those seeking a more indulgent experience, Novotel Kolkata presents the Durgabari 4.0 Staycation package, available from October 9th to 12th. The Staycation package includes enticing offerings such as a 'Buffet Breakfast at The Square' and access to daily puja celebrations and rituals,' among others.
