Thiruvananthapuram, August 12, 2024: O by Tamara Trivandrum gears up for its first Sri Lankan Food Festival starting from August 15th to 25th at its very own multi-cuisine restaurant O Café. The 10-day-long festival will feature an exclusive menu curated by Sri Lankan Chefs, Chef Jayasuriya and Chef Sendil Kumar, renowned for their mastery in delivering authentic Sri Lankan culinary artistry. This food festival will take place nightly from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, offering an unparalleled dining experience that will transport guests straight to the vibrant heart of Sri Lanka.
The signature dishes will include Sri Lankan Fish Cutlet, Beef and Coconut Baduma, Neagmbo Crab Curry, Kiribath (Sri Lankan Milk Rice), Coconut Roti, Lavariya and more.
To enhance the festival experience, live music will be performed by the Sri Lankan band Vajira and the Sax, creating an ambiance of authentic rhythms and melodies. Additionally, a skilled coconut leaf artist from Sri Lanka will collaborate with local vendors to craft exquisite décor, enriching the festival's enchanting atmosphere.
In collaboration with Sri Lankan Airlines, O by Tamara will be organizing an exclusive raffle draw as part of the festival. One fortunate winner will be awarded a grand prize of two business class tickets to Colombo, which will be announced on the final day of the event.
