Chennai, May 2025 – Park Hyatt Chennai is thrilled to announce SHROT, an extraordinary hyper local Rajasthani culinary experience, taking place at The Park Brasserie from May 20 to May 25, 2025. This exclusive event transports the heart of Rajasthan to Chennai, featuring authentic flavors, rich traditions, and culinary artistry sourced directly from SHROT at Hyatt Regency Jaipur.

The term "Shrot" means  ‘SOURCE’, food crafted from naturally sourced ingredients – a philosophy deeply embedded in Rajputana culinary heritage. Curated by talented chefs from Jaipur, this event promises an immersive exploration of the bold, earthy flavors of Rajasthan, with a meticulously crafted menu that includes à la carte lunches and dinners

From ‘Maans Surjan Phalli ka Shorba’ to ‘Jodhpuri Raan’, each dish pays homage to the royal kitchens of Rajasthan. The décor, music, and staff attire will embody the vibrant culture of the desert state, creating a multisensory dining experience.

As a special prelude to this five-day festival, a Rajasthani cooking class will be offered on May 20, where guests can learn to prepare three traditional dishes directly from the chefs.

Fee: INR 2000 + taxes per person.
