Pune, July 2025 — As the sacred month of Sawan approaches, Sayaji Hotel, Wakad is proud to announce the launch of the Akhad Food Festival, a specially curated culinary experience celebrating the rich and fiery non-vegetarian flavours of Maharashtra. The festival will run from 11th to 20th July 2025, offering a journey steeped in tradition and taste.
The Akhad Food Festival brings a variety of regional delicacies, displaying authentic preparations and robust spices that have defined Maharashtra’s legendary cuisine. Guests can look forward to a menu that highlights traditional rassas and hearty meat-based dishes, a perfect pairing with the monsoon season.
Crafted by Sayaji’s expert culinary team, this festival promises not just a meal but an immersive cultural experience. The dishes have been thoughtfully selected to evoke nostalgia while introducing guests to the depth and diversity of Maharashtra’s food heritage.
